Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison should take lead and get on right side of the DREAM Act in memory of Joaquin Luna

One week ago Texas DREAMer, Joaquin Luna took his life because he felt he had no other option. We are asking Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison to get on the right side of the immigration issue via the DREAM Act. She voted against the DREAM Act in December 2010, and we do not want to see her retire in American Senate history as being the woman who did not have compassion on our children and youth.
Joaquin Luna’s family states:
“As the family of Joaqiun Luna, we want the DREAM Act to pass so we can help a lot of people that want to go to school and become somebody. We are all the same in God’s eyes. ” -Marie Ana Mendoza
During the Civil Rights era, American history has recorded the Democratic and Republican legislators who voted against that Act. History will remember that Senator Hutchison was the woman who lacked compassion for the DREAM Act Students and we hope she rights the wrong to support the EMERGENCY JOAQUIN LUNA DREAM ACT before she goes on a Merry vacation in December 2011. We believe this is an emergency. We desperately want to prevent future despair and suicides with our youth.
In a Houston Texas Radio interview, the Tequila Party (female-led movement) prays to the retiring Texas senator to take the lead on a passing an emergency DREAM Act in memory of Joaquin Luna because it deals with children and our youth. We want to prevent future bloodshed that could have been spared. When children despair, there is no hope and bright future.
