The end of racial profiling and immigration abuse by Arpaio can help end with the “federal” Gang of Eight LEGAL Immigration Reform — not a local recallFriday, May 31st, 2013
It was the federal 287(g) program that created the Sheriff Joe Arpaio monster under Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act to begin with.
It will take a federal new law that will fix the obvious broken immigration system that has received the bipartisan support of Republicans, Democrats and Independents via the Gang of Eight Legal Immigration Reform Plan.
Many of us knew a local recall Arpaio effort would not succeed since it was launched shortly and too soon after he was elected in November 2012 … and just because we lost a battle does not mean we have to lose this immigration war.
Efforts and resources should now point to the root of the problem has been all along and what the reasonable solution is. More importantly — IT IS FREE TO DO THIS! The root of the problem rests with the feds. It is their responsibility under the Supremacy Clause to fix the broken immigration system.
We are not asking for donations and money … we are asking you to make a simple phone call to Congress asking them to support the Gang of Eight Legal Immigration Reform bill.
It is not too late!
Please call your Senators and Congressmen now and tell them to support the Gang of Eight – S. 744: Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act, now!
You can locate your Senators and Representatives here — please call them right now! Remind them of our broken immigration system and a much needed law that works!
