High Marijuana Arrests: Signs of Racism & Over-Policing

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has released a new report on arrests and incarceration for marijuana possession. The findings are startling– in light of new research showing multiple medical uses for marijuana, spread of states with medical marijuana, legalization of marijuana in two states, and widespread usage of marijuana by millions of Americans.

A Trip to the Arizona Border — Part 1

On April 20, 2013, the Arizona Project sponsored a one-day round trip from the Phoenix area to the Mexican border.  Ron Ludders, Chairman of Arizona Project, was the trip leader and guide.

The first stop on the trip was a drug drop-point less than 8 miles southwest of Casa Grande (Latitude 32.8229 degs, Longitude -111.8605 degs) and approximately 80 miles north of the Mexican border.

3 Accused of Trying to buy Stinger Missiles, Anti-Tank Weapons for Sinaloa Cartel

TUCSON – Three people are accused of trying to buy anti-tank weapons in Arizona for a drug cartel in Mexico. Federal indictments were recently unsealed  in Phoenix.
