Tucson: Vote for your favorite farmers marketby Karyn Zoldan on Jun. 02, 2010, under Farmers Markets, Life
America’s Favorite Farmers Markets contest is underway and it’s time to cast your vote.
Let’s see in Tucson we have the Saturday Rincon Farmers Market on the far southeast side. On Thursday, there’s Santa Cruz Farmers Market which is tied to the Community Food Bank on the west side; this farmers market has some of the best prices around. Tucson Farmers Market is at St. Philip’s Plaza on Sunday mornings and Oro Valley on Saturday mornings. Broadway Village Farmers Market is on Fridays at Country Club @ Broadway. There’s the Udall Park Farmers Market, Park Place Mall Farmers Market, Tucson Mall Farmers Market and of course, Downtown Farmers Market.
I know there are more farmers markets, some are seasonal like the one at the UA and in Bisbee. Am I forgetting any?
I really do have to make a list of these farmers markets to post online here.
Anyway go vote. You can vote as often as you like but only one vote per farmers market.
The winner receives a free supply of No Farms No Food totebags and promotional support to grow their farmers markets and the glory of it all. Read the specifics here.
