Wouldn’t you love to make a DQ Dilly Bar at home?
Friday, March 2nd, 2012Growing up in the Midwest; Dairy Queen was pretty popular in our home! We LOVED ice cream! There really isn’t anything that I have tried at DQ that I didn’t like; however, I think the Dilly Bar was/is on top of the list.
Give this a whirl foodie friends.
DILLY BAR DESSERT:
3 cups granola
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 – 8oz. cool whip
1 can chocolate syrup
salted peanuts
Melt margarine and mix with granola. Put on the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan. Soften ice cream and mix in peanut butter and cool whip. Spread over granola. Drizzle the chocolate syrup over top and sprinkle with peanuts. Freeze 2-4 hours before cutting.
