I understand that some cats need the nourishment of canned cat food but wouldn't dry cat food go allot longer at much less cost? This was an issue with the human society when it ran out of cat food last week, although people stepped up to re-stock it. My cat is almost exclusively on dry food and his happy and healthy and my vet has no problems with it.

Well thank you Ryn. I think you know how to do the nice photo alignment now as well? : ) I appreciate your encouragement. I know some of the staff and volunteers at HOPE personally, and they are doing amazing things with almost no money. If they had a fraction of the operating budget that the Humane Society enjoys, they could save many thousands of animals every year. I have been sorely tempted to adopt a cat from HOPE myself, but my Bonnie is a one-person cat, and gets quite jealous if I fool around with any other felines. Cheers -- LL

What perfectly aligned, centered and sized cat photos you posted! Seriously, though, it is grand you bring voice to these pets that need a voice. I'd adopt one of these kitties but Phoebe would eat them and it would be too messy.
