		<description>There isn&#039;t going to be a whole lot any combination of City Council members can do about anything until the local economy picks up. Until that happens, everything is going to have to be a holding action. The Magic 8-Ball in DC might say the recession is over, but they&#039;re the only ones.</description>

		<description>Having attended 3 of the 8 dialogues, I think the City staff  should have had the attendees at each ward meeting vote on the top 3 areas that needed to be improved, and thereby gotten some consensus from the residents.   There was a lot of good will, but not a lot of prioritizing of &quot;key community services&quot; despite the logo on their website -- &quot;working together to set city budget priorities&quot;.</description>
