British man pleads guilty to storing child porn

U.S. District Court Judge David C. Bury will sentence Anthony David Hibble, 48, on Dec. 12.
The charge carries a maximum prison term of 10 years, but Hibble and prosecutors agreed on a range from 2 1/2 to five years in prison followed by lifetime on supervised release.
Hibble also agreed to sex offender counseling and to register as a sex offender on probation.
Hibble was indicted on a charge of attempted transportation and shipping of child pornography and a charge of possession of child pornography in computer hard drive disks.
On Aug. 4, 2004, an FBI special agent traced downloaded pornography to an Internet account from Hibble’s home in the 5400 block of South Wembly Road.
Hibble, who was then a senior computer support systems analyst at the University of Arizona’s Office of Student Computer Resources, admitted having more than 600 digital images or movies stored on his computers.
