New market taking root on UA Mall

Savannah Smith  (above) tries a spoonful of spicy cranberry jam from Terra Verde Farms at the farmers' market Friday on the University of Arizona Mall. Market on the Mall has about two dozen booths, offering goods such as honey, salsa and American Indian fare. The market will be on the west end of the mall, North Campbell Avenue and Third Street, every Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. except during the Thanksgiving holiday and semester breaks.
