Sherry Downer has joined the Tucson office of Fennemore Craig as an associate in the labor and employment practice. Before joining the law firm, she was an associate at Chandler & Udall in Tucson. Downer is a 2004 graduate of the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.

Two Tucsonans have been named finalists for the Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Awards:

● Bob Hagen of Southern Arizona Technology Council received the William F. Whortor Community Service Leader of the Year Award

● Kathleen M. Perkins of Breault Research Organization received the Ed Denison Business Leader of the Year Award

R.D. Castillo and Tim Schannep have been elected to the Junior Achievement Board of Directors.
