Give Fido a comfier leash on life

Your dog has one standard item of clothing: the collar.
Tazlab, a company in the business of making safety-minded products for dogs, has reworked that canine fashion basic.
The Tazlab Safe-T-Stretch Collar stretches when needed, should your pooch need to escape in the event of an entanglement (with a fence, furniture, other dog, etc.).
When clipped to a leash, however, the collar stays on.
The 1-inch-wide collar comes in eight colors, including blaze orange, gunk’s green, new river blue and lover’s leap pink.
Cost is $15. Available at www.petgadgets.com and www.tazlab.com.
Matching “slide-tech” leashes are available, also for $15, adjust in length from 30 to 70 inches.
