Tucson meth dealer gets 10-year sentence

Visiting U.S. District Judge David S. Doty sentenced Craig Lee Taylor, 35, Thursday after Taylor pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute meth, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute meth, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona, Tucson police stopped Taylor in April 2005 for a traffic violation. When a police dog smelled drugs, officers found 266 grams of meth and ammunition in the car.
A search of Taylor’s house revealed 386 grams of meth and a 12-gauge shotgun.
