Tucson’s Dr. Andrew Weil will join the author of “Food Fight: The Citizen’s Guide to a Food and Farm Bill” for a discussion May 1 at the Pima Community College-West campus.

Tucson Food Fight will focus on how the Farm Bill is hurting people and the planet.

The event is designed to be a gathering of consumers, conservationists, farmers, ranchers, chefs and concerned citizens.

The event, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at PCC’s Proscenium Theatre, 2202 W. Anklam Road, is free to the public.

Weil joins Dan Imhoff, author of “Food Fight,” and author M. Scott Johnson of “Defenders of Wildlife.”
