Southern Arizona’s representatives in Congress are bringing a couple of their colleagues to Tucson during their holiday recess.

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was scheduled to appear with House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lodge on the Desert, 306 N. Alvernon Way.

Rep. Raúl Grijalva will be joined by Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., at a community forum at 1 p.m. Sunday at El Pueblo Neighborhood Center, 101 W. Irvington Road.

Gutierrez and Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., are the authors of the Security Through Regularized Immigration and a Vibrant Economy – or STRIVE – Act.
