Hear the city’s plans for widening Grant Road at a Ward 6 Council office meeting Thursday evening.

Council Member Nina Trasoff will host the public meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the 3202 E. First St. ward office.

A brief update on progress of the project to widen Grant to six lanes from Oracle Road to Swan Road will be given by city transportation officials. The project is set for 2013.

Work is still in predesign stages. Public comments will be forwarded to the Grant Road Improvement Plan Task Force citizens’ advisory committee.
