Brie: Humane Society of Southern Arizona
Brie is a big-eared sweetie who’s looking for a German shepherd lover to love. This black-and-tan, 4-year-old shepherd mix is a former stray who has gone unclaimed by owners who moved without leaving a forwarding address. Since Brie can’t talk, it’s hard to say what her history has been, but she is pretty, good-natured and healthy, and she’d love to have another home where she’ll become a part of the family. In return for a home of her own, she promises to be a loyal best buddy. Maybe you’re the right someone to bring her home for the holidays. Brie is well worth the visit to her temporary residence at the Humane Society’s Adoption Center, 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd. Visiting hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. For more, call 327-6088 or visit hssaz.org.
Nash: Arizona Greyhound Rescue
Nash, who plays well with other dogs, enjoys the dog park in the early mornings before it gets too crowded. He also likes to chase and retrieve oversized balls that squeak. The 4-year-old would do best in a home with other dogs but no cats. To find out more about Nash, call 886-7411 or visit azgreyhoundrescue.org.
Gene: Casa de los Gatos
Gene is a cute 4-month-old with an affectionate and fun personality. His favorite things are snuggling and playtime. He would make a great addition to any family because he gets along well with other pets and children. For more info on Gene or the many other cats and kittens with Casa de los Gatos, call 881-0900 or visit CasaDeLosGatos.org.
