The State Transportation Board will meet in Oro Valley on Friday and may discuss the Interstate 10 Phoenix-Tucson bypass.

Other topics on the agenda include the awarding of construction contracts for Interstates 10, 17 and 19.

The bypass is on the board’s consent agenda, and it may approve funding of a planning study for the project.

The board will meet at 9 a.m. at the Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive.
