The No. 1-ranked Wildcats will have to wait until Saturday to open its season.

The two-time defending champs had games scheduled against Notre Dame and Texas Tech on Friday, but both contests were rained out at the Kajikawa Tournament in Tempe.

UA will play No. 6 Northwestern (10:30 a.m.) and No. 3 Texas Tech (1 p.m.) on Saturday at the event, followed by games against Southern Utah (11 a.m.) and Nevada ( 1 p.m.) on Sunday.
