BORGQUIST, Neil, 84, of Tucson, passed away January 29, 2002. Neil was a 1939 graduate of The University of Arizona and received his Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 1941. He was an Ensign in the United States Naval Reserve Civil Engineering Corps, and served in the Asiatic-Pacific area during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita and their children, son, David, and daughter, Margarita. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two children, Arthur (wife Marilyn) and Sheryll; sisters, Arline and Beverly. A remembrance and reception will be held at 14660 Windshade Dr., Thursday, January 31, 2002 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cypress, CA. James A. Cadwallader, Jr.
87, born July 18, 1914 in Philadelphia, PA, passed away on January 24, 2002 in Tucson, AZ. He is survived by his daughter, Judith (Otto) Olsson; daughter-in-law, Anita Cadwallader; sister, Florence Weber; grandchildren, Jeanne (Rick) Tittle, John (Winfield) Zangrilli, James (Laura) Zangrilli, Deborah (Ed) Shoemaker, James (Jen) Cadwallader IV; five great-grandchildren; and nephews, Hank and James Bowman. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Claire and son, James A. Cadwallader III. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 1936. He retired in 1976 as Manager of Finance for the Aerospace Electronics Systems Department of General Electric Co. in Utica, NY after 40 years of service. He was active in a wide variety of community affairs, including boards of a hospital, savings bank, boy’s club, Better Business Bureau and United Fund in Utica, NY. Since retiring and moving to Tucson, AZ in 1976 he was very active in the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church and on the boards of Lutheran Social Ministry, the Pacific Southwest Synod (LCA) and the Arizona Office of Governmental Ministry. He served from 1987-95 as treasurer of the Grand Canyon Synod. For more than 10 years he was an active counselor with SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives). He was presently serving as treasurer for the Dorado Country Club Homeowners Association. Memorial service will be held February 1, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. in the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church, 8625 E. Tanque Verde Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
CASTANO, Eleazar born February 4, 1917, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2002. He is preceded in death by his parents, Margarita Obregon and Teodora Castano. Eleazar is survived by Eva, his wife, whom he married in 1937. He also leaves behind many friends and family. Eleazar was a WWII veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He participated in Guam, Saipan operations and other South Pacific action from 1943- 1945. He retired from his occupation as a journeyman sheet metal mechanic in 1982. Mr, Castano was a gentle caring man who will be missed by his many friends and relatives. Graveside service to be held on Friday, February 1, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at SOUTH LAWN CEMETERY, 5401 S. Andromahi ”Ann” Economidis
passed away January 27, 2002. Born in Ravenna, Greece on August 18, 1909. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, with whom she moved to American in 1931. They settled in Rochester, New York where she was very active in the Greek Orthodox Church, serving as President of the Philoptohos Society. They relocated to Tucson in 1974. Andromahi is survived by her daughter, Helen (Gus) Lazary; sons, Peter (Millie) Economidis, Thomas (Katherine) Economidis; seven grandchildren, Peter, (Terri) Lazary, James Lazary, Kathy (Steve) Veals, George (Terri) Economidis, Gregory (Juli) Economidis, Megan (Robert) Nicoloff, Thomas G. Economidis; six great-grandchildren, Stephen, Peter, Christopher, Rachel, Mariana and Kailee; sister-in-law, Laura Tsikara; nieces and nephews in Greece and Rochester, New York.
Her life was devoted to her family and each member will always remember the special way she touched their life with her love, her wisdom, her wit and her guidance. We will miss you Yiayia.

George N. Hill
a resident of Tucson since 1971, died January 28, 2002. He was born June 30, 1945, preceded in death by father, Ralph E. Hill; brother, Ted Alan Hill; and son, Patrick Michael Hill. Sheila Ann Reinhardt
born November 5, 1937 in Belle Vernon, PA, died January 27, 2002 in Tucson, AZ. Preceded in death by her father, William R. Davis and her mother Virginia, both of Belle Vernon, PA; and a brother, Bernard R. Davis of Tionesta, PA. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Reinhardt; sister, Cheryl Cornaire of Belle Vernon; son, Mark Hampton; daughter, Kelly Alderete and son-in-law Roberto Alderete all of Tucson. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Ann Davis of Tionesta, PA; stepchildren, Susan Nickols, Donna Reinhardt, Paul Victor Reinhardt, Gabriel Reinhardt, Jason Reinhardt; grandchildren, Baby Alderete, Nicole Hall, Tyler Hall, Nicolas Reinhardt, Andreya Alderete and Robert Alderete; and countless nieces, nephews and other relatives. Sheila worked as a federal judicial assistant for the Honorable Eileen Hollowell. She was previously employed by Mesch, Clark and Rothchild as a paralegal. At the time of her death she was serving as the District 12 administrator for Little League Baseball. For the past 29 years Sheila was a devoted volunteer helping the youth of Tucson.
