News from the Southern Arizona Green Chamber of Commerce:
Many people we’ve come to know here in Tucson have expressed interest in learning more about the Natural Systems Thinking Process (NSTP) developed by Dr. Michael Cohen of Project NatureConnect. The Natural Systems Thinking Process reverses many of our personal, social and environmental troubles. It expertly addresses our addictive disconnectedness by tangibly reconnecting our psyche to nature’s webstrings.
The process starts by helping us recognize it is reasonable to reconnect with nature. We learn how to safely and consciously make enjoyable, non-verbal, sensory contacts directly with the lifeweb’s strings, not media substitutes for them.
This methodology in the field of applied ecopsychology is the basis of the way we live our lives and the foundation of our activism. Our Earth Day offering to you and Gaia is an invitation to join us for a reconnecting with nature experience through an introduction to the NSTP.
The event takes place on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at Rio Vista Natural Resource Park, 3861 N. Cactus Blvd (at the end of Tucson Blvd). Please RSVP to Allison Ewoldt at 520-887-2502; and bring a water bottle, a pad and pen and your love of the natural world.
