Ron Barber voted with Republicans againby Denise Early on Oct. 15, 2013, under Health
Why did Ron Barber voted with Republicans to change the rules of the House of Representatives? He voted for House Resolution 368 on October 1st which changed the rules so that only the John Boehner or Eric Cantor could propose a vote on the House floor to fund the government.
Democrats had planned to call for a vote that should have gotten just enough Republican support to approve a “clean continuing resolution” (without Obamacare defunding demands). But because Boehner changed the rules on October 1st, he prevented a vote that would have funded the government.
I read today that Ron Barber voted for this rule change. Why?
This video exposes the sneaky rules change that has prevented a vote in the House to re-open the government. We need to ask Ron Barber why he once again voted with Republicans.
