Anyone missing an airplane?
by Cherlyn Gardner Strong on Sep. 01, 2009, under LifePeople send me videos related to the paranormal all the time. My sister shared one with me over the weekend. It’s a UFO video. It is one of many “UFO in Tucson” videos, posted on any given day, and shared with the world by one our many resident sky watchers.

Although I was impressed by it, I asked my sister, “Wouldn’t we have heard about a missing airplane?” We shared a laugh over it and moved on to other topics. As usually happens with me, I started thinking about it again. If I don’t get it out in written form, then I just won’t stop thinking about it.
If the UFO footage is fake, it is a pretty good editing job to me. The person who posted the video provides details of the event, and states that the footage was offered to the media. The media declined. That concerned me for a minute, but I bet our local stations receive more UFO videos than they know what to do with.
Most importantly, no one appears to be missing an airplane. This happened three weeks ago, so I am sure we are all safe from this particular round of alien visitors.
I took a few minutes to do some research on it, to make sure that I wasn’t spreading a faked video. Lo and behold, someone did an analysis of the video and posted it on YouTube. I provided the links to both videos. You decide.
This close encounter was captured on video on August 8, 2009:

The analysis was posted by an SFX artist a week later, who claims it is a hoax:
Analysis: Airplane Abducted By UFO: Caught On Tape
Interestingly, the original video has received over 100,000 views. The analysis only has about 4,000 views to date…
What do you all think about it?
