Another UFO shuts down another airport, this time in Mongolia

by on Sep. 13, 2010, under UFOs

Saturday night saw the shutdown of another airport, due to another UFO.

Reports from People’s Daily Online and Shanghai Daily confirm these reports from the news outlet Dbw.cn. The airport in Baotou in Inner Mongolia was forced to delay the landing of three planes originating from Shanghai and Beijing. The airport was shutdown for nearly an hour, due to the appearance of an unidentified flying object.

According to reports, the object was seen hovering about four kilometers east of the Baotou airport at around 8:00 pm, with the three planes delayed for safety reasons.

China’s Xiaoshan Airport was also shutdown for about an hour earlier this year, on July 7th, due to a UFO.

Just as a point of clarification, Inner Mongolia is part of the People’s Republic of China, so, effectively, this is another “Chinese UFO”.  China seems to be having a lot of issues with air traffic control recently.  I wonder if this isn’t a by-product of growing wealth — more air traffic and perhaps an outdated ATC system that isn’t keeping pace with an increased volume of air traffic.
    Cheers

I know it’s in China, assumed everyone else did, too. Though you are probably right that some people need that clarification. I don’t know, it could be any or all of those things that you mention. I was reading a very interesting story from today about a severe water shortage (including drinking water) in the region  that is creating some amazing cracks in alfalfa fields. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english2010/china/2010-09/13/c_13492366.htm. The water shortage is pretty scary in itself.  When the people saw the UFOs in eastern China, there were typhoons, flooding and mudslides, death. Perhaps it’s a distraction for them, who knows. Hopefully we will find out soon.

people who see ufos probley are deluisionable and are fantasy prone and are not well educated however 5% of sightings might have somthing going on. its best too keep a open mind.

Actually, I don’t agree with the assessment that people who see UFOs are probably delusional. A UFO is a flying object that the viewer or viewers cannot identify, I think most of us have seen such an object. Until the object is identified as a plane, missile, rocket, kite, or other object it is a UFO. A UFO is not always associated with space aliens. Absolutely, you are correct, an open mind is required.

I disagree you closed minded ingrate.  I have witnessed UFO or UFO like objects and I good sir…have a degree.   I am not deluisionable and are fantasy prone like you say.  I am a pillar in my community and my attitudes and opinions are respected with in.  I say that you need to keep your little meaningless opinions to yourself.

Awesome.. I love that these events are not happening in the states. I would like to read reports of how this is being received in the asian press. As usual, I am yet to be convinced of anything other than people’s willingness to believe in weird things, but it is all interesting as heck. I love it. Thanks for the post.

Thats because all these ufo’s are AMERICAN.  I thought area 51 was good enough evidence.

uneducated,,,  I would beg to differ… Jimmy Carter, hundreds of  military/airline
pilots, several astronauts, high ranking govermental personal.   Yes I am sure you are much more intellectually inclined then most of the observeres mentioned above.   I bet you believe in god, and the bible…. It never ceases to amaze me how
Good god fearing people fine the bible so easy to accept, as wild as most of the myths are, but roll their eyes when objects are seen in the skys, and in many cases located on radar.   UFO’s are a FACT!    In a court of law, a person can be put to death for a crime simply observed by another person.   If that is accepted as proof enough to eliminate a persons life, then I would have to say the same logic applies to a credible person, or group of persons observing objects in the sky.
