Yes! I read about that in a Whaley House book, which is my favorite place to hang out and have paranormal experiences. Regis was said to have been terrified and fled the home! I have a photo of Corrine “Lillian” Whaley. It is actually a Polaroid, as I like to shoot with different cameras in the same location. Polaroid had no explanation for the shot. The docents in the house said that the shape of the anomaly looked identical to Lillian! Thanks for your input and for seeing that obvious parallel to the paranormal.

Thx for pointing this out. I wanted to add that Kelly mentioning that Regis had seen an apparition is completely true. Regis used to work in San Diego television back in the 1960's. In 1964 he was supposed to spend the entire night at Whaley House. He left in the middle of the night when he saw an apparition of Anna Whaley coming towards him. I spend more time researching than writing these days. Thanks for your input on it and for pointing it out so quickly. The original article I reported on was written in a way that implied that they were the direct source for the quote. They weren’t.
The paranormal topic in itself is fighting for credibility. I don’t want to add to things by stating half-truths. We aren’t going to move forward unless we get things right. Thanks again!

Now this is good journalism (even if you’re actually a blogger)! Kudos!
I NEVER expected my original comment to have such an impact, I just wanted to point out the truth about that story. It unexpectedly became a discussion about the wrongs of the media and how it affects people submitted to it. You took it to another level by subsequently writing an eloquent essay on the subject, one of the few I’ve read on the net. My sincerest thanks and kudos to your post. It may seem like “much ado about nothing” to some readers but it surely states in a boldly manner an unconvenient truth: media manipulates by twisting and omitting facts/statements.
