Pat lives in the land of beautiful evening skies, gracious cacti, colorful moutains and windy, driving monsoon rains. Pat loves home, family, puppy Finnegan, fun, travel, toys, reading, shopping, music, dance, fire walking, animals and gadgets.
Since retiring from child welfare, she spends time playing with Finnegan, learning, hanging with family and friends, making things, writing, entertaining, gardening, swimming, checking out new movies and capturing the Zen in life.
She is currently working on a book. You can contact Pat via e-mail at email@example.com; shout out at http://tucsoncitizen.com/pats-bits-and-bytes or to: http://patabit.blogspot.com.
IF YOU DON’T KEEP LEARNING AND MAKING MISTAKES YOU DON’T TAKE ANY RISKS
Life is an ongoing process of growth, learning and change. If you want to challenge yourself, to optimize your potential, to produce your greatest work - you must keep trying.
If you screw up, get up, move on and try something new or do it in a different way. Boring people always get it right all the time because they don't really do much of anything new. It's easy to critique others and point out their shortcomings, to be a backseat driver or an after the game quarterback.
It takes quite a different perspective and effort to find the good, the best intentions and the beautiful in all.
I'm just saying...but I'm only one voice. I could be wrong, but it wouldn't be the first time and I'm proud to say it. True?
