Fees for Vital Records at the Pima County Health Department have increased. The new costs are $20 for certified copies of birth and death certificates and $30 for corrections and amendments.

The Arizona State Legislature approved new surcharges for birth and death certificates that the Arizona State Office of Vital Records is passing on to all Arizona counties.

These new fees were approved by the Pima County Board of Supervisors on July 12, 2011.

Last year, Pima County’s Office of Vital Records issued over 100,000 certified copies of birth certificates and death certificates.
