Every year, Vantage West Credit Union employees are invited to nominate their favorite charities to be considered for a holiday donation.

This year, after Sandra Zimmerman, a financial representative at Vantage West, nominated the Pima Animal Care Shelter, it was one of the organizations selected to receive a $2,000 donation.

Zimmerman, an avid animal lover who has been known to take time out of her busy day to save a loose dog, said she appreciates the work PACC does. “I know the staff members there pour their hearts into what they do everyday, so we feel really blessed to be able to help such a loving organization.”

Kim Janes, manager of theAnimalCareCenter, said he is grateful for the generosity that Vantage West has shown. “The funds will be so helpful in assisting the Center in improving the conditions and quality of life for the pets we are privileged to care for.”

Janes will accept the award at the upcoming Vantage West holiday celebration.
