Tucson Clean & Beautiful, in partnership with City of Tucson Environmental Services, will host a “Master Recycler” training class to provide Tucson area residents and businesses with information for recycling, reusing, and reducing waste to help conserve natural resources and improve our environment.
This class, offered periodically throughout the year, focuses on local recycling, reuse and waste reduction options. Each training class participant receives a packet of reference information including a Reduce-Reuse-Recycle directory for Tucson and Pima County and many other pamphlets and booklets. Upon completion of the class, each new “Master Recycler” is asked to be a key contact for their neighborhood, workplace, and other community organizations to share updated recycling information as it becomes available.
Contact Rebecca Quintero, Recycling Education coordinator at (520) 791-5000 or e-mail recycle@tucsonaz.gov to register or for more information regarding future classes and any recycling, reuse and waste reduction options in the Tucson-Pima County metropolitan area. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, February 22, 2012 due to limited space.
