It Is Grown-ups’ Time at Children’s Museum Tucson!

An Evening of Play Fundraiser

Friday, November 2, 2012 – Starting at 6:30pm

Tucson, AZ (July 26, 2012) – While the kids are away, the grown-ups will play! The Children’s Museum Tucson will transform into a sensational soiree on Friday, November 2, 2012 starting at 6:30pm for An Evening of Play fundraiser, benefitting the Museum. This fun-filled evening for grown-ups only is guaranteed to delight every inner child’s curiosity. (The Museum will be closed to the public on Friday, November 2 to prepare for the event.)

Guests will delight in the Museum’s transformed exhibits and courtyard to enjoy a sensory experience of live music and artistic performances. Playfully inspired libations and childhood favorites with grown-up twists from Tucson’s most creative chefs will also make for flavorful explorations. This event also highlights the Museum’s changes in the past year which include over $600,000 invested in new exhibits.

Museum Board member Troy Larkin and community volunteer Beth Bank are this year’s event co-chairs. According to Larkin, “An Evening of Play offers a great opportunity for adults to experience a sensational trip back to childhood at Southern Arizona’s only children’s museum. Last year’s event was met with extraordinary community support and we look forward to another successful and memorable event!” Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early before the event sells out.

Tickets are $125 per person. All proceeds will benefit Children’s Museum Tucson. To purchase tickets for An Evening of Play, contact Daniela Siqueiros at 520-792-9985 x 105 or online at www.EveningOfPlay.org.
