Tucson, AZ. – (September 27, 2012) –- The Tucson Association of REALTORS® (TAR) will be hosting a weeklong event, Seize the Day, Impact the Future, focused on volunteering, caring for our community, creating partnerships and enriching through involvement. During October 1^st-6^th, 2012, REALTORS® will donate their time and talent to increase the awareness and impact of non-profit organizations in our community. This weeklong festivity will end with a free event for the community on October 6^th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Reid Park.

Seize the Day, Impact the Future will reach out to the community in different ways including a blood drive, a “shred-a-thon,” a Habitat for Humanity Tucson build day and more. A food and diaper drive will launch on Monday, October 1^st and end on Saturday, October 6^th at the main event.

“The Tucson Association of REALTORS® is passionate about the Tucson community,” said Tom Heath, housing opportunities chair for the Tucson Association of REALTORS®. “This event was designed to give back and to show our appreciation for the many organizations that make Tucson the great city that it is.”

TAR is inviting the community to attend the Seize Day, Impact the Future Celebratory event on October 6^th. The event features entertainment, food, door prizes and activities from various non-profits.
