TUCSON, Arizona, Dec. 28, 2012 – The Southern Arizona Logistics Education Organization (SALEO) will hold a dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013,featuring Lisa Hopper, CEO & founder of World Care Civilian Emergency Relief Center, whichprovideshumanitarian relief by recycling surplus materials and supplies to create usable resources for health, education andresponding to disasters at home, throughout the country, and around the world. She will discuss sources and uses of materials for disaster relief and associated supply chain and logistics challenges.
The dinner will be from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Viscount Suite Hotel, 4855 E Broadway, Tucson, AZ 85711. To attend, the cost is $30 general ($25 for first-time attendees, $10 for students).
