Tucson Food Tours Celebrates 1st Anniversary!
One year of successful downtown tours.
Tucson, AZ – Tucson Food Tours is celebrating their one year anniversary this February. This is the first and only walking food tour and takes place in the heart of the Old Pueblo. On the tour, not only do guests get to sample some of the best food in the city, the guides point out architectural highlights, cultural hot spots, and great local shops along the way. This first year Tucson Food Tours has had the pleasure of showing 369 guests what downtown Tucson has to offer. At first most of the guests were tourists, but now the word is spreading to the locals with the featured article in the November issue of the Tucson Lifestyle Magazine. “Joining a food tour is a great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, office party, casual date or group outing.” says Bradner Lawrence, co-owner of Tucson Food Tours. Throughout 2012, Tucson Food Tours has added La Cocina, Sparkroot, Reilly and Cafe 54 to the list of tasty stops that also include The Hub, Empire Pizza, El Charro, & Monkeyburger.
Tourists and locals alike agree that the tours are a great and exciting way to learn about this trendy, vibrant, and growing downtown area. Tucson Food Tours is ranked #1 in “Activities in Tucson” on Tripadvisor!
Tours start at 11am and are approximately 4 hours long. They begin at Congress & Toole and end on Congress and 5th Avenue. Visit www.foodtourstucson.com for a full schedule of tour dates and for more information.
