Tucson Writer/Artist Juan C. Heinrich Throws His Hat Into the Ring with Hound Comics in His Corner

Comic book creator Juan C. Heinrich along with Hound Comics announced his attendance at the upcoming Wizard World Comic Con in Portland Oregon this week. This news coming soon after the announcement of the first issue of Juan’s creator owned title “SLAVE”. Juan attracted the attention of Hound Comics CEO William ‘Brimstone’ Kucmierowski online after submitting several pieces of art. Within a few weeks Juan was signed onto the Hound Comics family with SLAVE, a dystopian Sci-Fi fantasy about the first resident of Hell, now escaped onto Earth in a bleak future landscape.

Already making a mark on the company, one of Juan’s monster creations was featured in the release of a new Hound Comics title ‘Critical M.A.S.S.’
“It’s a story about finding oneself, and smashing monsters into tiny pieces,” laughs Juan as he describes his story, “and I think fans will continue to be surprised at some of the topics that will eventually be brought up as the story unfolds in future issues.” In the end as with all of the products released from Hound Comics, quality storytelling and artistic content are the primary goal.

The first Issue of SLAVE will be available to order online from houndcomics.com, amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com on February 13th, 2013. For the locals who would like to support Juan and his comic book, they can attend the SLAVE Comic Book Release party on February 19th, which will be held in Tucson Arizona at Mr. Head’s Gallery and Bar located at 513 N. 4th Avenue.
