On Mar 21, 2013,Anita Moorjani, author of Dying to be Me, will be speaking at the Jewish Community Center from from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

On Feb. 2, 2006, doctors at the hospital had given Anita
just hours to live when she arrived at the hospital. She was unable to move as
a result of the cancer that had ravaged her body for over three years. As her
body shut down, Anita entered another dimension and was given a choice of
returning to her life or staying. She experienced great clarity and understood
of her life’s purpose here on earth. Anita chose to return to life when she
understood that “heaven” is a state, not a place. This later led to a
remarkable and complete recovery of her health.
