February 12, 2013(Phoenix AZ)…Arizona’s first comprehensive online database of services, providers, physicians, case managers, testing locations and more, and one of the few sites of its kind in the nation, directly connect those affected by HIV/AIDS to the resources they need.HIVAZ.org, created by Aunt Rita’s Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that advocates HIV education and awareness and raises and distributes funds to HIV/AIDS service organizations. HIVAZ.orglists providers by categories and visitors that are then directed to the website of individual providers through URL links. Each posting includes the name of the agency or organization and a short description, location, contact information, services provided and the website links.
“HIVAZ.orgdirectly connects people to the resources through the links,” said Aunt Rita’s Foundation Executive Director Kit Kloeckl. “The site is not designed for individuals to spend a lot of time, but as a one-stop database for the diverse services and resources they may need to develop, enhance or expand a healthcare strategy.”
