PCC Women’s Tennis Ranked Seventh in National Poll

Tucson, AZ – The Pima Community College women’s tennis team received its best ranking since joining Division I in 2004 on Thursday as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) listed the Aztecs at No. 7 on its latest national rankings. They were ranked 19^th before the latest poll.

Pima’s best ranking prior was No. 15 in 2011. Its only conference loss this season has come against Eastern Arizona College, who is ranked No. 6. The Aztecs lost 5-4 but will play them again on Thursday, Mar. 21 at the Tucson Racquet Club.

The Aztecs will kick off the California Tournament on Monday against Glendale College (Calif.).
