Don’t know what to do with your outdated computer or television set sitting in storage? Want to recycle it properly and safely? Tucson Clean & Beautiful is hosting an electronics collection event to conserve resources and improve our environment, in partnership with Westech Recyclers, Whole Foods Market and the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.
This recycling collection event will accept televisions, computers, monitors, printers and other peripheral items, printer cartridges, cell phones and other small household electronics (i.e., fans, mixers, toasters, vacuums), home entertainment equipment, telephones and other electronic components. All working and non-working electronics will be accepted. There is no fee for recycling these items. Note: this program does NOT accept large appliances, refrigerators nor air conditioners for recycling.
Printer cartridges will be recycled through Cartridge World Tucson to benefit Tucson Clean & Beautiful, and cell phones will be provided to Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse for reuse or recycling.
Additional program and contact information for each recycling partner may be found on their respective websites:
