Local Caliber Collision Centers Join Company Effort
To Provide 230,000 Meals Nationwide
Tucson, AZ, June 3, 2013 – Recognizing that hundreds of children in the Tucson area often go hungry during the summer without regular school lunches, Caliber Collision is launching its 2nd annual Rhythm Restoration Food Drive June starting today through June 21 to support the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
Caliber Collision employees have challenged each other to surpass last year’s food drive totals, and have set a nationwide goal of collecting enough food items and cash donations to provide 232,000 meals for at-risk children.
In addition to the food items, Caliber Collision has committed to a corporate matching donation of up to $20,000 based on the amount collected by employees.
“At Caliber, our goal is to restore the rhythm of our customers’ lives by repairing their vehicles. Similarly, our goal with this food drive is to restore the rhythm of regular meals for needy children,” said David Goldstein, Vice President of Caliber Collision. “We urge our customers, suppliers and the general public to join us by contributing food items and or cash for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona at any of our four locations in the local area.”
Non-perishable food items or cash donations can be dropped off at any of the Caliber Collision locations listed below. The food bank cannot accept glass or open containers, perishable or homemade items.
