When the lights go out and the doors close at the International Wildlife Museum, everything seems to come to life!
The wildly popular “Night at the Museum” family event returns to the International Wildlife Museum on Saturday, August 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Visitors of all ages will get a close-up look at exhibits and dioramas depicting wild animals in their natural settings, plus more than 400 species of insects, birds and mammals (including prehistoric mammals) from around the globe.
The evening of fun, education and exploration–in the dark– includes a scavenger hunt and “glow-in-the-dark” crafts projects. Visitors are asked to bring their flashlights.
Tucson’s Food Truck Roundup will be at the event, selling a variety of food and beverage.
Admission prices are: $8 for adults; $6 for seniors (62 and over) and military (with I.D.); $3 for children ages 4 to 12; and free for children ages 3 and under. Museum members are admitted free. Discounts are available for groups of ten or more with advance reservations.
The Museum is location at 4800 W. Gates Pass Road, five miles west of I-10 on Speedway Boulevard. For more details, please call 520-629-0100, or visit TheWildlifeMuseum.org.
