Tucson, AZ – Mariachis, sugar skulls, luminarias, kids’ activities, workshops and delicious Sonoran food await visitors on Oct. 26 for Tucson Botanical Garden’s Second Annual Feast with the Dearly Departed. Please join us for a Tucson community celebration as we honor the centuries old tradition of Dia de los Muertos.
Get mummered up for participation in a traditional Day of the Dead procession and make luminarias to light the way. You can even decorate a sugar skull to add to your own personal shrine. Feast on tamales with a beer or jarrito to wash them down. Music by Los Changuitos Feos de Tucson –a Tucson youth mariachi group .
