About the Filmmakers
Jenny Vanderlinden is battling Stage-III ovarian cancer. She and filmmaker Blake Babbitt are currently creating a documentary that aims to raise awareness of the BRCA-1 and -2 mutations and the benefits of early detection. This film-in-progress explores the complexities of ovarian cancer and living with a terminal diagnosis while documenting the ups and downs of Jenny, a survivor and mother of four. Despite her adversity, she continues to fill her days with adventure, infectious laughter, excitement, and joy. “She doesn’t live it like she’s dying; she lives it like she’s living!”
