This week the Ground Pounders of the Southwest will be roaring into Tucson and will be the Feature Race at Tucson International Raceway. 20 late models at 700 plus horse power each, are not only exciting to watch but that combination is also a recipe for great door to door racing throughout the entire field of late models.
The Super Stocks, X-Mods, Factory Stocks, Mini Sprints and Hornets will also be racing Saturday. That is right, six different divisions with over 110 cars and drivers will be in competition for a complete show for race fans!
Brian Brown has an early 18 point lead over Dana Boatwright in the Super Stock Class. Bobby Babers is off to a great start with a 10 point lead over Kalvin Catlin, the “Spiderman”. Will Catlin have the speed, the skill and the luck needed to capture another Win and close in on Babers point lead? Dusty Gauthier has an early 4 point lead in the X Mod division over Auldon “AJ” Wright.

The 3/8-mile USA Raceway clay oval is located Southside of Tucson off I-10 take the Alvernon or Crafcroft Road exits and go South to Los Reales.
