Tucson Pride announces 2010 entertainment line-up for Pride on Parade & Pride in the Desert. Tucson Pride Inc, in association with Bud Light, Comcast & Woodys presents Pride on Parade October 8th on 4th Avenue and Pride in the Desert October 9th at Reid Park. Pride on Parade and Pride in the Desert is Southern Arizona‘s largest gathering of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community and is now celebrating its 33rd year.

Pride on Parade will kick off the festivities with a parade on 4th Avenue. The parade will begin at 6:00pm on Friday October 8th near the corner of 4th avenue and 2nd street. The parade will proceed south and will end at Winsett stage between 7th and 8th street. Leila Lopez, Jennifer Corday, Tom Goss, Amber Norgaard, and Courtney Robbins will perform. This year’s main stage headliners will be Grammy nominated and platinum selling artist Sophie B Hawkins, best known for having the longest running hit single on the Billboard Chart “As I Lay Me Down” and the pop hit “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover.” Other Main Stage entertainers include Eric Himan, Billy Dortch, Jennifer Corday, Joshua Klipp, Namoli Brennet, Coyote Joe, 8 Inch Betsy, Courtney Robbins, TMI, and many more. Coffee House Stage entertainers include Boys R Us, Joshua Klipp, Aiden James, Amber Norgaard, Leila Lopez, Curt Beall, Achy Birds, and Courtney Robbins.
