At the least we would want to lay a concrete slab but we are at a loss as to whether to go with frame and stucco,  frame and plywood,  or super deluxe slump block. And what about the roof?  In any case,  a simple yet reliable window airconditioner would be desireable, or what do you think of an underground doghouse with a dehumidifier?  We've asked contractors about all this and they say, "We'll do whatever you want!"  Surprise,  surprise.  Cost is no object. My termite question, thankfully, falls into the prevention category and yes, I was hesitant to shell out the $500 for treatment. And now I won't and can go buy new shoes instead (haha).
