		<description>Excellent advice.  I had foot surgery two years ago and one year ago I started running again.  But I really can&#039;t run, I have to alternate running with walking.  So when I do my 4 1/2 mile loop, I plan out how I will alternate walking and running for the first 1 1/2 and for the second 1 1/2 and for the third 1 1/2.  Having each segment different gives me a goal and keeps me focused and makes it easier for me to complete my workout.

Good luck to all that run the Saguaro National Monument race, I love that race and hope one day to be able to do it again.</description>
