Snow On Mt. Wasson

Saturday February 9, 2013

Speaking of climate change, as dawn broke this morning, we could see that our Tucson Mountains had been transformed into a winter wonderland. These images were taken from our viewing deck looking west at 7:10 AM. On the other side of these mountains is the Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park West.

From our viewing deck we can see five geodesic domes. Here are two. Do you have any experience living in one?

If the rains stop and they don’t cancel the races, Neighbor Roy & I are going to the horse races at Rillito Park this afternoon. Afterward we might get to the guided tour of the new archeological dig at Ft. Lowell. And if it continues to rain, a nice big fire in the fireplace will do just fine. Have a great weekend!

I believe you mean weather change. Climate is what one expects, weather is what one gets. Climate is normally measured over a 30 year period at the minimum. The misnomer in the title was enough to get this blog picked up by the Huffington Post.

      Eric, that’s for the clarification.
