Dr. Warren has got it right on, our children's future planet and economy are intertwined and at risk from current practice. While installing solar systems and energy efficient devices will not solve the problem, it will start the trend towards these values and will bring down the cost of new technology so that it can be widespread and make a difference. Being globally competitive and ecologically sound are exclusive of each other, and will become more interdependent!

And the solar industry thanks you for this promotional piece. I will not buy an electric car, solar paneling , compact fluorescent bulbs, etal, because they cost too much, are inefficient and impractical, require massive taxpayer subsidies and green energy tariffs, and will do nothing to "fix" the climate. The only improvement would be profitability of Wall Street companies selling green products, at the expense of consumers.Renewable energy; not cheap, not really green.
