Huge rally to repeal SB1070 expected at AZ State Capitol Monday at 11:30am

Senator Steve Gallardo and Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox will hold a press conference Monday, Jan. 23rd at 12 noon on the Senate Lawn to announce his bill to repeal SB1070.

Sen. Gallardo will be joined by fellow Democratic legislators and community members to speak of the damage SB1070 has done to our state’s image, tourism and economy.

The TEA Party has already sent out a notice for the pro-SB1070 crowd to show up, so there will be lots of people gathered.

Get there early and bring people!

Notice they have rallys when the Middle Class Americans that SB1070 helps protect all have to be at work, paying taxes, to support illegals living off welfare.

SB1070 has been a disaster for Arizona. Racial profiling of brown people is unconstitutional and when all is said and done, history will remember who stood up and who stayed silent. I support Senator Gallardo’s bill to repeal SB1070. Russell Pearce has been ousted by the will of the people. We can all see that our fellow Arizonans’ are demanding change at the State Capitol; the time has come and we are taking our state back from the racists.

Your idea of a “huge rally” is 1 person showing up for an “occupy TUSD” moment that lasted 1 afternoon!
Not even you showed up to support that lone Latina that answered your call!
All talk, no action, or as they say in Texas, “Big hat, no cattle”!
I want to honor the young lady that stood up for her beliefs in spite of those that espouse their support from the safety of moms basement!
I may not agree with her position, but I support her right to express her feelings.
BTW…Where were you?
