This is for Jeanie Bergen . . .
Just finished viewing on YouTube your lovely piece on Olivia Cabot. I met her back in about 2001 in the gallery. She was very gracious, didn’t let escape the “firecracker” image that your insider portrait offers.
So, this November (actually Nov. 7) we went to Tubac, hoping to see her again. I had emailed her months before to say we were coming to AZ. Unfortunately, I never made arrangements as to a particular day and so we missed seeing her.
But it was fascinating to view her presence and her spirit through your lens. Thanx for that. I see it was nominated for an Emmy? Has CBS Sunday morning or 60 Minutes ever done something on her? Just wondering . . .
