Hot off the press on the John C. Scott Show (the Jolt, 1330AM), LD28 Representative Steve Farley announced that Arizona’s Senate Republicans have elected Russell “father-of-SB1070″ Pearce as president of the Senate.

Anchor babies and immigrants, beware.

    Correction: illegal aliens beware.

No, I believe that anyone who is not lily white and straight has to beware.

Of course they’ll reward him – he found a sure fired vote getter for them: blame it all on the illegals. It got the horribly unqualified Brewer easily reelected, and they swept all the statewide offices for the first time in a long time. But really he didn’t come up with anything novel or new, he just took a cue from his neo-Nazi buddies and lifted a page right out of the Brownshirts manual: When the economy is very bad, just find a minority group (preferably one that is defenseless and can’t fight back) and blame them for everything. The masses will forget the real reasons for the bad economy and join in the witch hunt.
